Drishyam 3 Crosses Rs 300 Crore, Ajay Devgn's Biggest
Drishyam 3 passed Rs 300 crore net on its second Sunday, Ajay Devgn's first and biggest. What trackers report, and where their numbers differ.

Ajay Devgn finally has a Rs 300 crore film. Drishyam 3: The Conclusion crossed the mark in India on its second Sunday, Oct. 11, and it is now the highest-grossing film of his career. The previous best was Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which finished at Rs 279.59 crore net in India, according to NDTV.
The numbers, as trackers report them
NDTV, citing the trade tracker Sacnilk, reports that the film collected Rs 22.50 crore net on Day 10 across 14,872 shows. That took its India net total to Rs 309 crore and its India gross to Rs 370.80 crore. Overseas, the film added Rs 6 crore on the day for a gross of Rs 109 crore so far, which puts the worldwide gross at Rs 479.80 crore.
ThePrint, also quoting Sacnilk, says the film earned Rs 27 crore in advance bookings and opened with Rs 66.75 crore net. That is described as the biggest opening of Devgn's career and the third-biggest opening for a Hindi film. After Rs 53.50 crore on the first Saturday and Rs 61 crore on Sunday, weekday collections fell to Rs 21 crore, Rs 19.50 crore and Rs 15.50 crore, and week one closed at Rs 245.50 crore net.
Film Information, a long-running trade publication, has its own set of daily figures. It puts the second weekend at Rs 63.50 crore and the second week at Rs 84.50 crore, for a two-week total of Rs 328 crore. Koimoi, which keeps a day-wise table, shows Rs 341.6 crore net in India after 16 days and a worldwide gross of Rs 540.79 crore. The trackers do not agree to the crore, which is normal for Indian box office, so we quote each one by name.
A milestone with company
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, quoted by NDTV, called it the fourth Hindi film to enter the Rs 300 crore net club in 2026, after Dhurandhar 2, Border 2 and Hanuman Ansh. Movie Talkies counts Devgn as the 14th actor on its list of stars whose first Rs 300 crore film has arrived, a list that starts with Aamir Khan and PK in 2014.
What the film is
Drishyam 3 is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who co-wrote it with Parveez Shaikh and Aamil Keeyan Khan. It is produced by Panorama Studios and Star Studio18. Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Kamlesh Sawant. Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat are new to the franchise, and Saurabh Shukla makes a brief appearance, according to ThePrint. NDTV notes that the story is credited to Pathak, not to Jeethu Joseph as in the first two films.
Reviews have leaned positive on the cast. NDTV's Saibal Chatterjee wrote, "Come for Ajay Devgn, stay for Jaideep Ahlawat."
What comes next at the box office
The film's run is now being squeezed by new releases. Trade reports this weekend list Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 at the top of the chart, with the Hindi releases Prahaar and Nayyi Navelli opening weakly. DNA India says Drishyam 3 will keep dominating screens until Ramayana arrives next month. Final totals will take a few more weeks to settle.
What we could not confirm
We could not confirm one release date. ThePrint's report says the film released on Sept. 27, while NDTV's timeline, Koimoi and Indian Express all point to Oct. 2, and the second-Sunday math fits Oct. 2. We have used Oct. 2. We also could not reconcile the different net totals across trackers, and no official producer figure has been published in the reports we reviewed.
